En ce 26 juin, journée internationale des Nations Unies pour le soutien aux victimes de la torture, International Bridges to Justice est heureux d’annoncer la sélection des 10 lauréats de la compétition JusticeMakers 2017 pour la prévention de la torture en Afrique de la Francophonie. Les lauréats mettront en oeuvre leur projets dans sept pays d'Afrique francophone : le Burkina Faso, le Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, la Guinée, la Mauritanie, RD Congo et Togo
Le programme JusticeMakers est un élément clef de la stratégie d’IBJ pour améliorer l’accès à la justice. En connectant, en formant, et en accordant un soutien financier à ces innovateurs sociaux, le programme JusticeMakers donne aux avocats et défenseurs locaux des droits humains les moyens de faire progresser la justice dans leurs communautés.

La compétition JusticeMakers 2017 est financée par Affaires Mondiales Canada, et promue grâce au soutien de la CIB (Conférence Internationale des Barreaux) et d’Equitas - le Centre international d’éducation aux droits humains.

Today, on the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, IBJ is honored to announce the selection of 10 Fellows of the 2017 JusticeMakers Competition for Prevention of Torture Competition in Francophonie Africa. The Fellows will implement their projects to advance access to justice and fight against torture in 7 countries: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, la Guinée, la Mauritanie, DR Congo and Togo.
The JusticeMakers program is central to IBJ’s strategy to advance access to justice. By connecting, training and funding social innovators around the world, JusticeMakers empowers local lawyers and human rights defenders to advance justice in their communities.
