IBJ is excited to announce the launch of its

ASEAN Youth JusticeMakers Competition 2015

We are reaching out because we need your help spreading the word about this exciting opportunity.

The JusticeMakers Program is searching for human rights defenders with innovative strategies to prevent torture within the criminal justice system at national and local levels. Having local human rights advocates run projects on the ground has been a truly effective method of reaching out and supporting those in need. Applicants will be required to submit a detailed proposal of their idea, and those with the most innovative, sustainable, and efficient project will receive a $5,000 Fellowship to implement it. Winners will also be connected to a global network of support for this work.

This year, IBJ, with the support of the National Youth Council of Singapore and Asia Philanthropy Ventures, is reaching out to young legal professionals aged 20 to 35 years, from ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste for proposals.

• Forward our Call for Applications with other networks of NGOs/CSOs or lawyers who may be interested in our competition.
